Family Tribute ~

Jack graduated from Roosevelt High School. After highschool, he went on to join the Marine Corps, serving in the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, Jack had a successful career as a pipefitter.

Jack was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He would raise cocker spaniel show dogs, competing in various dog shows. Jack was also a huge supporter of Vivian’s talent with art, assisting with several art fairs, including the Wyandotte Art Fair for many years.

His biggest pride and joy was his family. Any down time from work, you could find Jack, Vivian and their three sons, Michael, Thomas and Robert exploring the states. They even published an article in the News Herald about their trip, visiting 26 states in 11 weeks, back in 1965.

Jack was a member of Gateway Church of Christ for 68 years, assisting in building their Southgate location, after moving from Wyandotte.

Jack will be remembered as a friend to everybody and a hero to many.
