Lawrence Allen Yon Jr. Age 46 of Lincoln Park.
Beloved father of Elizec “Eli” Yon and Noah Yon. Loving grandfather of Emerson Joy. Dearest son of Amelia Yon. Dear grandson of Elodia Zarate. Brother of Marisa Garcia, Salvador Yon and David Yon. Preceded in death by father Lawrence Allen Yon.
Life Story
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live,
even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.” –John 11:25-26
Lawrence A. Yon Jr. (Sugar) was born on September 25, 1974, in Detroit, MI. He attended Lincoln Park schools where he grew a passion for drawing, cooking, and cutting hair for friends and family. Throughout his life, Larry was always smiling and had a heart of gold. His nickname Larry Love-Bone and Sugar was a testament to his loving and caring personality.
Larry’s resilience and strength to overcome life’s Trials and Tribulations came from his love and belief in the Lord. No matter what obstacles crossed his journey in life, his faith did not falter. Larry is survived by his Two sons Eli and Noah Yon. His granddaughter Emerson Joy. His mother Amelia Yon. Grandmother Elodia Zarate and his three siblings, Marisa Garcia, Salvador, and David Yon.
Larry's memories will also be cherished and remembered by many family and friends.
Memorial contributions are appreciated to the family of Lawrence Allen Yon Jr.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
