Obituary of Thelma Wright

March 21, 1923 - April 1, 2017 Wright, Thelma J. Age 94 of Wyandotte. Beloved wife of the Late Ira Wright Sr. Loving mother of Beverly (Gordon) Hurst, Sharon (Norm) Blanton, Ira Wright Jr., and Thomas (April) Wright. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. FAMILY TRIBUTE Grandma was the Matriarch of our family and the strength of which we all relied upon. My most special memories of her was the unconditional love she had for her family. Growing up, I was very fortunate to spend a lot of time with her. I will always remember our family vacations and having sleepovers at Grandma’s house. She taught me to make her wonderful Chicken and Dumplings. She was famous for her party Spaghetti and Sauerkraut with Kielbasa. We can’t forget the “oh so moist” chocolate or marble cakes, cut in 2 by 2 pieces to make sure that everyone could get a piece. I will always remember and cherish my “special” times with her. She was the best role model for many and we will all miss Grandma dearly until we meet again in heaven.
