Obituary of Kara Anne Evangelist

May 6, 1963 – March 30, 2017 Kara A. Evangelist, Age 53 of Trenton. Loving mother of Heather (Mike) Stamper and Ryan Evangelist. Proud grandmother of Jack Stamper. Dear daughter of Robert and Louise Blessing. Fiancé of Darrell Condict. Dearest sister of Mark (Karen) Blessing. Aunt of Kelcey (Anthony) Valenzuela. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. FAMILY TRIBUTE Kara grew up in Trenton and attended Trenton High School where she graduated in 1981. From there she went on to Ferris State University where she earned her bachelors degree. Out of college, she went to work for R.L. Polk as a programmer. She worked for the same company for 35 years. She was known for her selflessness, willing to help others, and her love for animals. She was an active volunteer and foster parent and can be credited for saving hundreds of animals. Kara was a mom, but it can be better described as a provider, caregiver, friend, mentor, and an overall example of what a mother should be. She showed unconditional love to everyone and animal she encountered. She was a loving grandmother in it's truest form for however short it may have been.
