Obituary of William J. Rieckhoff

November 22, 1927 – March 21, 2017 William J. Rieckhoff, Age 89 of Wyandotte, formerly of several Downriver communities. Beloved husband of the late Dolores Rieckhoff. Loving father of Rick (Cindy) Rieckhoff. Dearest brother of Barbara Duprey, Miriam Johnson and the late Charles Rieckhoff. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. William was a former Police Officer in the Downriver area, soldier, sailor, medic at GM in Warren and president of the Bishop Co-op. He was a faithful husband to Dolores and father to Rick. Bill taught us to love animals as well as our fellow man. He will be missed by many.
